You’ve all been amazing fun and encouraging at the Facebook pages as I plan for the International Women’s Writing Guild conference. I’m flying to Pennsylvania this week with Muhlenberg College in Allentown on my radar! Reader friends have helped me choose clothes for the event. And helped me calm the nervousness of going into a new venue with my workshop topic “A Personal Narrative: Rising Out of the Ashes.”
I will miss all of you, but am excited to be spending these few intense days with other authors at every stage of their writing life. A blog post entitled “The Gilded Guild — Building Women Authors,” which I wrote earlier about the profound history of the guild shares some interview links that release the muse of other popular authors. Being able to share techniques that help make my writing a pleasure for all of us with other authors, both new and experienced will combine with the opportunity for me to learn from the other writers. Learning things about writing that helps me be able to produce more for loyal readers. And be sure that writing is worthy of the readers’ loyalty.
Just knowing that the conference connection is coming up and that it will be important to me and my writing has inspired me to write even more. That inspiration has stimulated me to produce most of a novel that is rapidly becoming a favorite story to turn to when I’m composing at the keyboard or writing notes, thoughts, and new ideas while enjoying my dogs and family. There will be more stories coming to please my readers.
