I have a great time with my friends on Social Media. Great discussions roll along in the group at my Facebook page. Some days a Bessemer, Alabama observation will bring many Likes — Loves — And Laughs! The comments that join the conversation receive acknowledgement as soon as I can read and respond.

Images To Get Our Conversations Going.
I love finding photos of grand gowns — colorful beauty that I could wear to an awards presentation. Or flowing designs that characters could wear in their literary worlds.

Photos of people who resemble characters in my stories help me and readers realize and bond with those characters. Stunning heroines (and sometimes wicked anti-heroines), sexy, robust heroes, attractive matrons and withered ancients all show up for their auditions. Sometimes our conversations lead to changes in the way a character’s role plays out in the story.
Story Places – Near and Far
As a traveler at heart, I love to share photos of places that I have visited or would love to visit. Dreamer friends join me in plots and plans for writers’ retreat locations.
Social Media Strengthens the Solitary Author

I spend a great deal of time in rather solitary communication with the characters in my novels. Social media gives me balance between fiction and reality. Another plus to the conversations is that they are really FUN. From the comments, I believe we all have a great time. We ‘analyze’ characters and pose thoughts about the plans each character has for their fictional lives. Many comment help me develop the characters into stronger stories, all the while having a good exchange with friends.
Invite Your Friends and Family
As a blog reader, you are probably already a part of the conversations at my Facebook page and on my Twitter page. I want you to know how much I appreciate being able to exchange comments with you. Most of us may never meet face to face, but we can have a valid virtual relationship. And there is always room for more. I invite you to tell your friends and family who enjoy reading to join in the conversations.
